C Drum For Sale -Serial 1085

Hello All: A number of years ago, someone tried to disasemble a semi auto pistol and had no clue how to do it and tried to force the parts out of the lower without separating the lower from the upper and got things stuck. It was sent to a repair facility and it got repaired but with an access hole drilled into the trigger guard. Does that make any sense? I am not the one who sent it in, just the current owner

Hello Fellow Board Members: I have a 1927a5 that would be a great SBR conversion to accept a 1928 buttstock. I have all the licenses necessary-Have 07 MFR with SOT stamp. I am not aware where the adapter plates or kits can be found Your help is appreciated or if you have one to sell let me know I have an older WH pistol not the cuurent crop of TA5 Thanks Haris

Walther MPK and Walther MPL- Anyone Know About These?
Grease Gunner replied to Grease Gunner's topic in Class III Forum
Ruben told me he has never seen a transferable Walther and guessed since its so rare that it would be 50k. Walther made them between 63 and 1985. They got publicity as the German police used them in the 1972 Munich massacre. -
Greetings Fellow Members: The Walther MPK has a 7 inch barrel and its a Great Shooter Mechanically but Highly Inaccurate. It shoots 550 rpm and They also made a Longer version, the MPL which has a 10 inch Barrel. If anyone has Experience With Either One, Please Share Them.

Ron, Not knocking the Garand or its history at all I apologize if you took it that way. But who would have guessed that it was worth that? -

Mike, Thanks for posting that info Cant believe the presentation Garand will cost 282,000!!! The drums went high considering no one knew what rotors were in there and the 6 drums fetched 6215, 2 were Worcester and the rest were United, I think But for a Semi Auto Thompson thats either Kahr or WH to fetch 4k!!! They are on GB for a grand!! And its got a FBI case that it cant fit into Auction description said "rare" If I am under the incorrect assumption that this is a $1,000 firearm, Board Members: Please correct me -
The primer only has enough energy to send the bullet from an inch to a few depending on the bullet and the rifling. But that WONT cycle the bolt back.I have seen squib loads in matches and the shooter goes tap rack bang, chanbers a fresh round and BAM!. Two bullets and a ruined barrel and maybe a slide also . Shooter error not gun error Just like Jim c 351 said" Stop and check the bore" There is no way a primed powderless case can detonate and cycle the bolt.
-
Greetings Fellow members especially the ones that shoot!! I have been shooting for decades but semi autos and hardly any full autos. And yes I have had squib loads some of which were my fault when my reloads either were too weak or I missed charging it with the powder drop. In those instances, the slide didnt cycle and I would stop, get a range rod and knock out the bullet. My question is : How does a squib load result in a bulged barrel when the pressures are not enough to cycle the bolt and strip a new round from the magazine??? If a partial load can do it, I guess I can experiment and download a cartridge, load the magazine with a dummy round and then the "downloaded round" on top of it.Then when I shoot the downloaded round I will be able to tell if the bolt comes back and chambers the dummy round. Appreciate any input here.
