  1. Not all Vector guns are bad even nib. Some had issues that Vector was good about fixing. It's pretty bad I took the time to find one person on gb and block them from bidding on items before they ever purchased from me.
  2. https://auctions.morphyauctions.com/LotDetail.aspx?inventoryid=511502 You just missed one. Of course at that price I'd be looking at other options.
  3. Looks like original finish to me. If it had been touched up or refinished the bare spots would be covered too.
  4. They actually offer full protection for the buyer They are outright brutal on the seller as they agree I refunded him, yet wont remove my -$145. Even if I settle with the owner on the side I will always owe the $145 to them. Im locked in a box I cant get out of. Not without paying twice now. I regret giving him anything as I told him no refund, yet he shipped it back anyways. I believe he started the fraud charge before I refunded him. So giving him $145 full refund would just mean I would be out another $15 As for the description. If i listed every mark on the mag or any item I would never sell anything. When Ruben or frank sells a $40,000 gun do they list every mark on the gun? No. They take pictures. Which I did. Every dent/ mark on those mags are clearly visible. The buyer I believe wanted a partial refund and might have been a scammer from the start Listing every flaw is a double edged sword. I've actually sold more by listing every flaw than without. I generally get an A+ better than described. If I don't get that I still get an A+ and something else. Probably half the people are using a phone to bid so it's hard to see the dings. A proper short description would have been. Like new with slight scuffs dings ask for more pictures if needed before bidding. 1. You didn't accurately describe in my opinion. 2. You used pp for an item they don't allow. 3. You decided to keep what you wanted for your troubles. 4. You gifted the partial refund. As soon as I emailed the guy offering a full refund including shipping both ways and he declined, PP unlocked my account. Not saying your guy isn't a jerk or it's all on you. However you need to follow their rules and list to the best of your abilities to have a leg to stand on. Buying a $26 mag and a 40k gun are different leagues as well. People generally take an A+ guy at his word on a $26 mag. 40k gun gets a few emails/phone calls back and forth.
  5. Honestly I think you should have just credited the full amount instead of deducting $15 and sending as a gift. I looked at your original 40 rd uzi mag ad and it listed them "nice shape most look unused" and they did have dents. Not ragging on you but saving $15 or not taking the time to point out flaws is a lesson learned. I've dealt with people that were hard to deal with using pp. One guy locked mine down for $1700+ because ups broke it and he refused insurance. I told him just to send it back when he tried to shake me down for a few hundred. Finally he dropped the case. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/796590064
  6. Mailed Nov 14th of 2018 approved Feb 17th 2019. Month longer than my last form 4 individual to dealer but we had the shutdown as well.
  7. What can you tell me about this. I'll try to post some pics in a day or so. Came with a 1919a4 I picked up. Underneath it says machine, link loading, cal.. 30m3 D36084-4. Has a tag on the back "Property of U.S. Army Ordnance Dept AORD Remington" Thanks
  8. Thanks for the info. Never dealt with stenparts or Indianapolis ordnance. Good to know they are good to deal with.
  9. I tried calling y'all when you had them on sale for $29 or $39 and could never get through. Isn't Mossberg the maker?
  10. Looking for a decent sten barrel for an integral project. Does anyone have one they'd like to get rid of? Also do any of y'all have any experience with tactical innovation barrels? Thanks

    York Arms Co

Thanks. I was mainly wondering if he was in business prior to 68 so you answered that for me. At least there is a possibility that it is an import as the first owner informed me. I'll do some checking with the ATF.
  12. I hate to start a new thread on the same topic. Please move or merge my last one started in the Sten forum if needed. What can you tell me about York Arms Co? I know they built Stens and the stutter gun. When did they start, did they import guns or only build them? I picked up a Sten (in transfer) no pics. I was told it was an import, originally bought in the 60s. It's a Long Branch 10L sn range and parkerized, excellent condition. The paperwork I saw had importer underlined in 4a. Thanks
  13. I realize it doesn't take long once it gets to an examiner. I'd like to know the hold up getting to an examiner. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to assign it to someone when they pull the check out. Most of mine have went to the same person anyways.
  14. Yeah, I don't know the hold up. I called on the 13th and they said they weren't even assigned to an examiner. Called the 21st to ask a question and figured I'd check the status again and they were approved. Just turned another form 4 individual to form 4 dealer on the 14th so we'll see how it goes.
  15. Mailed Sept 21st, payment cleared Oct 1st, approved Nov 18th. Out of state individual form 4 to dealer.
  16. I appreciate the quick reply. If anyone knows a good contact for him I would appreciate it. That or if someone could ask if he ever imported any.
  17. I was hoping to find out some info on York Arms Co transferable Sten MKII. I've read about his sputter gun ATF issues and that he built quite a few transferable Stens. My question is when did he start his company? The current owner got it from a family member that supposedly bought it in the 60's as a imported gun. The paper work shows York Arms Co in 4a and importer is underlined. It is a parkerized 1944 Long Branch 10L SN gun. Just curious if it is a import or a YAC build. Thanks in advance and Happy Thanksgiving.
