  1. Just curious. I can neither confirm nor deny that some Wolf steel case ammo may have been ingested and digested and spat out by my Thompsons. If it did happen, the cases were pretty much chewed up and while the ammo was dirty, everything worked fine when I pressed the loud button.
  2. I’ve run Wolf in my 1927 carbine and 1927 pistol. So far so good. Yeah it’s dirty, but. I clean them after a Range day anyway.
  3. It took almost exactly a year from Thanksgiving 2018 to Thanksgiving 2019 to,get the stamp for a suppressor. I used a trust to purchase it. One of the guys at my club recently “built” his can; he received the stamp in just over a month. that will have you looking at drill presses at Harbor Freight!
  4. Great info here, I’ve been looking for a violin case for my 1927 pistol. My a3 came with a guitar case that fits its big brother, too. The wife says, “yeah guys, thanks a lot for leading him to more sites”
  5. Wow. I paid less for my first Rolex. That was many years ago, lol.
  6. Dan, thank you very much. I’ll report back in this weekend after I try your suggestions.
  7. I wanted to find a kit but came across a 1927 a3. Unfortunately, it won’t allow me to shoot more than 2 or 3 CCI minimags in a row. It then won’t fire and won’t eject the unfired round. It came with a stick mag and a banana mag with adapter and a drum mag. Any suggestions on aftermarket mags that might function?
  8. I recently came across a 1927 a3 (22lr) It came with the guitar case, drum mag, stick mag and a banana clip with adapter, all in very good condition. Except for the fact it won’t run. Using CCI minimags, I can get two, maybe three rounds off before it won’t fire the next round, nor will it eject the unfired round. This is the case with both the stick mag and the banana mag with adapter. The spring on the drum is so loose it will not allow me to load ammunition. I am open to any suggestions or cure short of trading it on the next shiny thing I see. My 45 Thompsons both run great on anything I feed them. This little brother is not looking so good. Thank you in advance.
  9. Congrats! I had a 9mm version many years ago, for a week. We could not get it to run so,I traded it for a Ruger Mk2 that I still have. Now I’m all Thompson or not at all.
