These are Germans, you know? Never use a part for another gun/machihe when you can make one exclusively for the new one. And if 10 parts will make a great mechanism, use at least 20 to make it more complicated. I have German cars so I know whereof I speak!

I know this is the wrong forum to discuss MP 40's, but some of you guys have them, and I was just able (I think) to snag one thanks to a heads-up from Got Uzi that one was available on Ohio Ordnance's website. Pre-sample, nearly all matching, with four mags, mag loader and sling (looks original). I'm like a kid at Christmas if this deal goes through! So now I'm looking for accessories for the MP 40 as well as the K.

Got Uzi, thanks very much, it appears I was able to snag it, at least I got a confirming email of my order. I've been wanting another ever since I sold my transferrable 3 years ago, this one isn't as nice but it will fit my needs nicely. Too late smart, too soon old as a late friend of mine was fond of saying. -

Thanks, I'll check it out. -
I thought I'd found a nice MP 40 but it sold before I could get in line, if anyone knows of one transferable or pre-sample, please let me know. Matching numbers not important but a plus.

Forgot to mention I also have 100+ 5.56 links.

I recently found 300+ links for 7.62x51 ammo, forgot I had them. If anyone is interested I'm willing to let them go. Message me here or for quicker response email to bmitch1948@gmail.com.

Yeah, and I saw it a few weeks ago, but as I said, that was a few weeks ago and I've slept (a little) since then. My excuse is I'm getting old. That one didn't work when I was younger but now it works for just about everything, so there is one advantage I guess. Next time I'll just ask him directly.

I guess I respectfully decline, this is all I have, and I think I need to hang on to them. If I decide otherwise, you'll be the first to know. It sure was easier when I had my first K and all the accessories , trying to re-create everything again is proving hard to do, not much stuff available and what is has really increased in value. I've got a loader on the way, some brass catchers are out there, and a few barrels, but little else. No slings, as the impetus for this thread showed. The offering on GB of the blank firing barrel and 2600 rounds of gallery ammo is tempting, but at almost $2000 I'm not THAT tempted. Which brings up a question, are there any clips inside the plastic sealed packages with the ammo? I don't remember and I'm not ready to open the one remaining package I have.

I got an integral can for my M3 several years ago, right after getting my gun. I contacted Nick Hope of Rock Creek Gun Services and sent him a spare barrel. He built the suppressor around it, and I couldn't be happierwith it. I can hear the bolt cycling, almost no sound from the muzzle. Sadly, Nick passed away last year great guy.

I started selling off some if my collection three years ago in anticipation of getting old and possibly not being able to decide for myself or get in a bind and sell at below market prices. I'll be 75 in July, am in pretty good health, but my classmates are dropping like flies, which makes me realize it could happen to me anytime. That said, I regretted selling my K, as well as my MP40 and MP5, although I did buy a post MP5 as a replacement. Now I've also purchased a pre sample MP5 so I'll be looking to unload the post sample. I'm just gonna enjoy it for a while and let the chips fall where they may.

I have this stock I bought years ago, it doesn't fit my M1A1 TSMG, but I know it fits some model or other, perhaps someone can identify it for me?

Here are pics of the ammo I have, I know the loose ammo is the practice rounds, I don't remember if the blue color denotes a BB inside or not. The sealed package I think is also practice ammo, but I didn't want to open it until I have that verified, and I know some of you experts can do this. The bottom of a 50 cal. ammo box is about 3" deep with the loose ammo.

I'm late finding this topic, but wanted to chime in. I had a green K way back when, loved it and shot it often. It was a Pearl build. I had a few accessories too, 4 coffin mags and a pound, night sights, a leather sling, mag loader, brass catcher(also green), and lots of stripper clips. A good many 36 round stick mags too, both original and Suomi. Then I sold everything and almost immediately regretted it. Well, I'm back! I just bought a grey original pre-sample, got 4 mags with it plus a three lug barrel that I'm dying to try out with my MP5 can. I hope I can contribute something to this discussion occasionally, and I expect to learn a lot. I was just digging around in my ammo stash and found a 50 cal can with a lot of the practice rounds and a green plastic wrapped quantity of ammo that I'm not sure of the issue. It has a label in Swedish and I'll get a pic of it and post so y'all experts can identify it. Recaps, I'd be interested in the gun you sent Spiwak.
