  1. Thanks I am not familiar with that DVD series. I'll see if the West Hurley manual works plus the pics posted above.
  2. I contacted Kahr to see if they have a doc showing how to assemble the trigger assembly. They don't. I did find an old copy of the West Hurley manual online and bought it.
  3. I did find a store online selling the old West Hurley user manual. Hopefully it helps.
  4. Unforutnately the Kahr user manual does not show how to re-assemble the trigger assembly. They completely ignore it say you don't need to clean it. I wrote them asking if they have docs that are not on their web site showing it.
  5. My West Hurley tommy gun got jammed. The firing pin broke in to two pieces. I finally got the gun apart. I need to reassemble the trigger assembly with new parts. I cannot find any instructions on how the parts fit together. Does anyone have a link to the trigger assembly diagram or video? You may be asking why I didn't pay attention to how it came apart, good question. The only way to unjam the gun was to pull the trigger out and slow knock pieces out thru the trigger area till the piece that was jamming the gun came loose. Trust me the gun was completely jammed with no way to diassemble. I've attached a pic of the broken firing pin for your enjoyment.
  6. This is really old thread but I'm hoping people are still watching it. I own a WH 1927-A1 Tommy Gun made in 1989. The receiver looks nothing like the one that is pictured below. Either I don't know what I'm looking at OR the 28 version has a different design for the receiver. Can anyone tell me if that is the case? Since this article refers only to 1928 is it safe to assume a similar defect is not present in the 1927 model?
  7. I got the third hand key from Kahr for my WH (1989). I do not need to file it at all. It is smaller (width wise) than the key slot so it is actually loose in the slot. It wiggles side to side. This can cause problems as well. I will either have to add shims to the key slot or make a new key that is wider. I'm a bit confused by the post above where you filed the Kahr key to fit the WH.
  8. So you were able to use the Kahr key? I need a key and also have the WH gun. Bought it used but its missing its 3rd hand key. I saw that the Kahr key looks different from earlier versions I've seen online so was not sure it would fit. I certainly can file. I was actually thinking if its hard to find the WH key if I had dimensions I could make one.
  9. Thanks guys much appreciated. I'll just track down some proper magazines.
  10. Hi I bought a 1927-A1 recently used. Its from West Hurley made in 1989. The previous owner purchased 6 extra mags however they don't lock in place. The one that works has an oval hole for the locking pin while the 6 that won't work have a round hole. Anyone know if the 6 magazines are for original tommy guns? I'm attaching a photo showing both style mags. The one on the right works with my gun. The one on the left will not lock into place.
