  1. Hi All, This is Eric, Mike’s son. I just wanted to post and say thank you for all the wonderful posts, the video from the sub gun meet, and all the other ways you guys have supported our family in person and remotely (it’s hard to put it in words). We will continue to be part of the community, and look forward to seeing you all again soon. Just sadly without my dad. -Eric
  2. Hello again all, Danielle posted up a few listings, should have another one or two up soon also. (The original silhouette style design with the vertical Thompson with brass on the back isn't up yet, should be soon). These are screen printed transfers, not vinyl, so they have a decent feel. https://www.etsy.com/shop/LostArtistDesigns?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=945183637&section_id=32228801 Thank You! end shameless plug
  3. Hey Guys! This is Eric, giantpanda's offspring. My wife is working on getting some designs back online, we have made a handful but haven't put them up publicly - working on that now! Will post links when done. Thanks!
  4. Very Cool!! I have a small 3D printer I'll see what I can do with it http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/yy275/MTU4x4/1928.jpg
  5. Last Day to order is this Sunday. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! -Eric
  6. Hi Again all, It's time again for a round of Tommy T shirts if any one is interested. Similar to last years, you can order these online and at least $1 per shirt goes towards the board. Last year we made $60 for the board The design is the same as last year's, front and back have a silk-screened thompson design. Here is a link to last year's shirt thread with pics (ordering is done a bit differently though this year). http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/ind...9&hl=shirts The shirts are listed with my girlfriend, Danielle's shop (Kensington Valley Varsity) and the link is here: https://www.kvvarsity.com/Products_Detail.php?ProductID=754 Go through the steps of picking color/quantity, add to cart, then checkout. (the checkout process will have you enter an email and password that you can use later if you want to view past orders, etc. After entering all billing/mailing information, select checkout and it should give you a confirmation page. Make sure the order looks correct then submit your order). If you picked a white shirt with black design, rather than being silkscreened it will be done with an Anajet Direct to Garment printer (it's pretty decent quality really). Same price applies. The $20 includes shipping, however if you are going to that TATA shoot in August, we can bring yours there and will refund $5/shirt to you then. (Danielle's website is having issues connecting to the USPS website...so right now shipping is always included at $5/ea, just select the 'no' in the shipping drop down box if you will be at the show in August). Also, sales tax is included, and is another bug in the website., sorry. That 'tax' will go towards the board Lastley, we have some mess ups/test runs that Danielle made last year practicing on the anajet printer (she was just getting used to the machine - the white print is somewhat dull). I believe these are all black with whiteish print. We'll have these at the show for cheaper but I'm not sure how many we have and what sizes (I'll try to get a list together). All orders must be in by July 24th. Thanks all, Sorry for so much wording, but it's a bit tricky to try to write it up correctly. If you have any questions feel free to PM or email me (emwank@mtu.edu). Looking forward to seeing everyone that can make the show in August! -Eric Wank 'SmallPanda' GiantPanda's offspring.

  8. Thanks again all!! Shirts are in the mail - they turned out pretty well - Hope you all enjoy them. I'll talk to Danielle and get a check to the board soon
  9. Thanks everyone who ordered! We're getting the final numbers together right now and they'll be getting printed starting Friday. I'm hoping Danielle and I will be putting them in the mail over Thanksgiving weekend. Also hoping to get a good amount to the board hope you all enjoy! p.s. - if you still do want one, we can take orders until Wednesday night (tomorrow the 17th). Thanks again!
  10. Hi All, We’re about to make another round of ”tommy tee’s.” Danielle (my girlfriend) works at a print shop and has posted them on their website – we’re going to accept orders until November 15th so that we can get them to around the first of December. Shirts are $20 each (it will add MI tax, sorry), which includes shipping and a $1 donation (per shirt) to MachineGunBoards.com ! If you’d like a shirt, here’s how to order: 1. Go to www.kvvarsity.com 2. In the Search Box (Upper Right Corner) type: Tommy 3. Click on the picture of the shirt. 4. Select size and indicate quantity. The color defaults to black, but if you want a different color email Danielle at danielle@kvvarsity.com – just let her know what shirt (if more than one) you want and in what color. Color options are: Black, Navy, Cardinal Red, Maroon, Red, Purple, Royal Blue, Kelly Green, Metro Blue, Pink, Heather Navy, Forest Green, Texas Orange,: Blue Dusk, Heather Indigo, Heather Forest. The T-shirts are poly/cotton blend. 5. When done, select Checkout. 6. Set up an account by entering an email address and your choice password (this will allow you to view past orders and future purchases, and allow an order confirmation email to be sent). 7. Fill out Billing and Shipping information (Billing must be associated with credit card used in purchase). A confirmation page will be displayed; please make sure order is correct, and submit the order. (You should receive a confirmation email soon after you order) Thanks! 11. Yep, My senior design group is spending a year creating a better brass catcher for 1911's. (see below). I have wanted to make one for thompsons, and might try to use our design for the 1911 and make it more generic for different pistols/SMGs. Looking at 'brasscatchers.com' I see there is the 27 catcher listed (I'm guessing this is the one the OP is talking about). We ordered their 1911 model, and it's pretty rough. doesn't work well. But they have a good generic container and deflector and modify it for each gun. They have some 'fits-all' kits that might be usable for side-cocking M1's if you get some plastic cement and are willing to put some work into fitting it. Here's the newer design for the 1911. We're getting them rapid prototyped out of ABS plastic. (testing to commence this week). I'll post if we get the OK to expand to more than just 1911's. (It'd be fun to have a CAD drawing for a tommy upper...C&C anyone?) http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l64/moron958/catcher2.jpg
  12. I framed mine with about 12 shells (my dad has the rest...i hope). I put a small photo of Dillinger in the right corner... overall a lot like what you did, Mike. It's hanging up in my college house dining room.
  13. Hi Dad, finally got around to looking to the pics. Wish i could've seen it, oh well. Interesting.... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/woot.gif
