full auto 45 Posted January 26, 2004 Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 This year's All Thompson show and Shoot willbe held in Fairfax, Va, at the NRA National Headquarters. The NRA has agreed to allow the TCA to hold it's annual meetings and to shoot on the NRA's indoor firing range. The dates are scheduled for August 406, 2004. Here is a tentative schedule of events: August 4th- bus toour of a local museum August 5th- bus tour of the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va. August 6th- The Thompson Shoot on the indoor range at NRA. Dinner to conclude with a tour of the National Firearms Museum. The National Firearms Museum will be hosting the TCA's Thompson exhibit. The exhibit is titled "The Thompson Submachine Gun: The American Legend." This will be the best time for all our members to visit the exhibit to take pride in the hobby. The TCA's host hotel is the Comfort Inn ( 703-591-5900 reservations) the nightly room rate is $79.00. You must mention the Thompson Collectors Association to get this rate! I suggest you make your room reservations ASAP, as we anticipate a large crowd. This will be the only notice in the newsletter. So please respond if you plan on attending so I can provide further information to you later. All attendees must have reservations to me (Tracie Hill) by JUNE 20TH, 2004. This is for planning of the special tours. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
