Lend Lease 1928A1 parts kit with two barrels, extra bolt, two stocks (yes one has a 1921 dated silver dollar in it - no I didn't do it). This kit does not have an oiler or screw to attach handle to frame. The vertical grip and manual are reproductions.

This is the actual kit for sale. Everything pictured is shipped. USPS money order only. This will be posted on other boards. First "I'll take it" gets it. I can be contacted by PM or email at blueline541@yahoo.com. Thanks for looking.

D..N I missed the Lyman sight by an hour.

Who has all the Lyman Sights from all the parts guns? Someone had to have stripped them off and they have to be somewhere. I need a good original adj Lyman rear sight but most prices I see are crazy.

50 round Thompson drum by Auto Ordnance Corporation - not a reproduction. The L drum is in overall fair to good condition, dent free, with worn places on the finish as well as numerous smaller scuffs. The finish appears to be original and does not appear to be painted like some I've seen. This is the drum I always used with my Thompson and it never gave me a single problem.

The lower front reads WIND 9 OR 11 CLICKS with the Thompson logo above it.

The upper front reads MAGAZINE TYPE "L"

THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN

50 CARTRIDGES CAL .45

FOR 1928 MODEL WIND TO

9 OR 11 CLICKS

The upper back reads AUTO-ORDNANCE CORP.

BRIDGPORT, CONNECTICUT

REGISTERED IN THE

U.S. PATENT OFFICE

A large letter "U" is located beneath the above.

$400 shipped for my vintage L drum. Postal money order only.

I am not sure what you mean by "crazy" prices on the Lyman sights. The kit sellers took

off the Lyman 55B sights and substituted the new-made/fake marked "Lyman" L shaped sights,

and sold the 55B's as an extra or an option. I would say a lucky find would be $150 with most

selling (or attempting to be sold) for $200-$250.

If that seems crazy - could a sight of that quality, complexity, fit, and finish be made

today for $200-$250?

Jim the Crosby drum has already been sold to a fellow board member.

That's Ok. I hope it's going to a good home.

As an Aside: Don Bell,Omega Weapons, had a supply of Lyman sights the last time I was there.

Jim

It IS going to a good home....I didn't have one of the new made Crosby marked ones until now. I missed out on them when they first came in. :D
