Edo
Greetings group! I just got my new copy of The Machinists Guide to the Thompson Submachine Gun .45 Caliber 1928A1 written by: Peter Linton. It does not give any information on the author, his experience in machining, gunsmithing, shooting the TSMG or any other pertinent facts about Mr. Linton. I would like to start a discussion about this very interesting/mysterious book. Who out there has a copy or knows anything about the author or his Thompson credentials? Thanks for any help on this quest... Regards, Ed Biggar (AKA Thompson Fan) Draper, VA.

Edo
Hello Jim! I sent you a few postcards while I was out there but you never replied. My first stop after my arrival was to visit Phillidelphia ord. and the very well informed Recon Bob. I believe I mentioned that I was expecting the book in question to be waiting for me when I fanally arrived home to Southwest Virginia. I don't remember if he responded to the book as he was showing me some very interesting products. You see I am an old customer of Philidelphia Ord. and have sucessfully used a number of Bob's fine products over the years. How about guiding me to a link to the two writings you quoted in your reply so I can get caught u?. Yes, I have been accused of being lost in the 60's but I believe it to be the 50's... Thanks for any help on my quest and your kind words as well. Regards, Edo
