Christmas Gun

Recommended Posts

Well, I'm getting a little stoked. Next week I'm heading south for Christmas and will be
picking up my Colt 1918 BMR along the way. The Form 4s have been approved for over
a month now,,but I elected to have a face to face with the seller since I was going down there
any way. I'll take some photos of it next year and post.
Merry Christmas,
Darryl

DD,

Haven't been to MS in a decade or so, most of my extended family lives there.

I would be a great place to hide out when or if we have a walking dead meltdown.

Chris,

I have a C&R, everyone that's not a dealer should have one.

Merry Christmas,

Darryl

Appreciate the kind comments, I'm hoping the internals are as original as the

exterior. Here's a couple more of the seller's photos. The rarest of it's features

are the slim jim barrel, humped butt stock and it's Browning Machine Rifle stamping.

Real nice !!!!!!!! The flash suppresor isn't something you find at ACE Hardware either. You certainly have some nice stuff, as always.

Impressed again-

Well I picked it up yesterday, it surpassed all my expectations.

I've handled some reproduction front grips made by several

manufactuers. The real deal vintage grip has angles and curves that

are not milled into the repros, the craftsmanship on these 1918 guns

is really outstanding.

Merry Chrismas,

Darryl

  • 2 weeks later...

Nice to have a little brother to the Monitor !

Congradulations, I guess the ATF decided not to send me my Christmas present yet- And I was a very good boy last year too.

New owner photos would be nice ( gun )

Wow, nice!

My wifes grandfather, shot the BAR in ww2.....he loves that gun! He said he melted several barrels during the war. I guess he got in trouble many times for that, but said he didn't care, he saved lives with it. Yes, more pics!
