brucea4
Hi gang, As the Malaysian .308 is drying up what is a good reasonably priced ammo to look for?
Normal1959
If you are talking about a "transferable", i only shoot Lake City factory ammo in mine. If you have seen what i have seen in the last 40 years, and i am 60, you would do the same. Some poorly made, or aged ammo can split from either end when shooting it. Worst case is a "kaboom" No guarantee, but certainly better odds.Eric I bought a full pallet of this "Lake City" ammo from………….. unammo.com Edited December 12, 2019 by Normal1959
StrangeRanger
I've had very good results with Prvi Partisan when I can find it. Ditto for Portuguese FMN. Avoid Lithuanian GGG like the plague

Normal1959
Nowhere for me to shoot tracers! What I do is lay the belts out on the kitchen island, pull the tracers and insert ball ammo. You can sell the tracers anywhere.Eric
