Type 100 SMG

Does anyone have pictures, drawings, parts, or even a complete gun thet I could look at measure or copy. Kinda interested in making a clone of one of these. Pretty squirrely little gun.....would be a fun project to make a piece at a time fromstock metal.

get a copy of japanese submachine guns by willian m. p. easterly, covers everything you would ever want to know,, severial years ago dan shea had a jap smg at the sar show, i beleve he was looking for someone who could recreate a magazine for it,,just sayn

Thanks, I'll look for it........If I build a clone.....probably cheat and make it run with M38 beretta mags......:-) I have done sheet metal in the past.....but it is just so damn time consuming.....I try and avoid.

if i rember ,some one was trying to modify a sterling mag to be used in jap type 100,,the curve looks good, just sayn

I'm using maybe slightly modified PPS43 mags in my half-arsed clone build.  Got that curved look like the original.  No barrel, bolt, or FCG yet.

Would love to find a repro sling for this thing.
