GonePostal
http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/nfa4sale....cgi?read=68576 I noticed it over a month ago and thought "damn, that'll go immediately at that price." Boy was I wrong! It's sat unsold now for a good while at what seems like a cheapo price. Strangely no mention of Curio and Relic status in the ad itself but pic show it to be a standard black painted lend lease marked gun. Perhaps something is amiss with this specimen? I only ask because I sold one of the two I've owned 3-4 months back for 2K more than he's asking and it went rather quickly. Has the mkt gone soft or is there more than meets the camera eye with this particular gun? I'd like to know because I'm planning on selling my other M3 greaser fairly soon to further finance the lake house. GP
guy sajer
I've only started watching GG's this year and have only seen a handful offered for sale . I'm not sure what's up with the one on Sturm ? Maybe money is tight around Christmas ? I went to his site and it does mention C&R there . Sorry I couldn't shed any light . Any being offered at Subguns ? I had very good luck selling 3 guns there in 2005 .
Remo Williams
GP, I believe he was in a pissing contest with several regulars over there about ethics of a sale a month or 2 back. I don't recall the details, but this might have an effect on this particular sale. I never dealt with the guy, so I can't say what he's like. Mike Hammer
So you are saying that 17.6K is a bargain for a black painted sheet metal SMG??? Really??? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif Mike Hammer
Johnny.45
GP, I read in another post that you may have purchased the G.G. out of Ormond Beach, FL that had been listed on gunbroker.com. How did that Guide Lamp turn out? And Do you know anything about Gold Coast Guns/Stuart Albert in Deerfield Beach, FL? I've seen some interesting items listed, but have read bad BOI reviews on both outfits. Thanks for your Help, Johnny
GonePostal
Hammer: Considering every single other M3 for sale today or in the last 6-12 months is/was listed for $20+K, I'd say, yeah thats a good deal but since I heard the bbl was a replacement so it was prolly a dewat earlier in it's lifespan. Brits painted all their shit black for some damn reason. STEns, GGs, rifle and have even seem a tommy or two with Brit stamps painted black. Johnny: Yeah it's a sweeeet, all original, not screwed with gun. Too bad I've run over budget on the lake house as it's gonna have to go at some point soon. Oh well, thats the breaks! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif
Chopper28
I posted a Guide Lamp M3 Lend Lease gun for a freind of mine 4-5 months ago for $12k. He could have gotten more but that is what he wanted for it. It sold in less than half a day.FWIW
