M1tommygun
I finally made my own field modified verticle foregrip for my Kahr M1. I asked for, and got, a rough shape pistol grip and acracked grip from Sarco. The both cost me $20, but they soaked me on the shipping adding another $10. Oh well, after repairing the foregrip and sanding the pistol grip I assembled it to my liking. I did not use any good wood, just very rough and damaged wood. Tell me what you all think. http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...rent=gear10.jpg http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...rrent=gear9.jpg Attached to my Kahr SBR. http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...nt=a6f68126.jpg http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...nt=38ce209f.jpg http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...nt=2adbea9b.jpg One picture before the addition. http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/m1t...personal010.jpg Scott

sevengunner
If you really want to have fun with the folks who don't read this board: emboss WWII military proof marks on the grip ... 'E' for Enfield or something Australian ... Sven
M1tommygun
Thanks guys! It was easier to make than I expected, and is very sturdy on the grip mount. I thought about the extra mags taped together, but the thing is heavy enough. Of course, I can use the workout. The grip does have a S on the backside, and evidence of a barrel band at the front, so that may throw some people off. I kinda hope it will make some stitch nazis scratch their heads. Oh yea, who you callin a yankee!?http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif Them's fahtin words down here in NC!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I kinda like Southern ingenuity http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif . Thanks, again. Scott
