emmagee1917
Firing pin from '53 in a GI package . I'd say for a .22 of some type . Any rifle or pistol shooters of the Steven / Savage , Winchester , H&R , Mossberg , Colt Woodsman , High Standard types recognise it ?Chris
dalbert
Blaine, I believe the firing pin is for a Mossberg Model 44US. Here's a clue on pricing... http://www.midwayusa.com/product/762002/glend-arms-firing-pin-mossberg-42-44-series David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com
Z3BigDaddy
Makes sense I got a whole bag of M 42/43/44 magazines, wow big money on them... Sold ten to a guy who runs a youth rifle program which is good... but I ramble...
emmagee1917
I knew I had seen it before in my stripping and cleaning of my collection of WW2 training .22 s after I took all those scouts out. I just could not remember which one it was in. I had two US44 s out , an early Lyman sighted one and a later Mossberg sighted one. Now , anyone have any thoughts on item #1 ? All I can say is I've seen these on a couple of guys gun show tables over the years ,Chris

dalbert
Not sure what it is...But, when I Bing'd the manufacturer name, the first 3 hits had to do with flare guns manufactured by the same company. Not sure if this item is connected, but I thought I'd throw it out there... David
