Chuck,

Thanks for posting the pictures for us. It was good to see everyone again for an excellent weekend show. Shows are always a combination of good fun and a lot of hard work. This first SAR show East was a fine one -- 1000 tables in a pretty nice venue in York,PA.

I had a great time and with everyone’s help, we probably signed in another 10 new TCA members!

Great pictures Chuck. It was really nice to see this display in person at the show. A LOT of hard work went into it and you could tell. It was nice seeing some guys at the show that I had not seen in a while and meeting some new ones. Take care and I will talk to you again soon. Dan C.

Those boxes of ammo look like they came right from the factory! Are they repo made? What a display! It is incredible.

I tried and never got any without people as it was a very popular display!

drdave,

The ammo boxes are all original. From the Lee Wolfe Collection. Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Take a look at the last picture WOW . This show produced some very rare items [ some one of a kind ]. We have another display in the planning stages look for a update in the next few weeks . And remember the TCA show and shoot at the end of July.

Almost forgot. They also put up this cool, huge billboard on the main road in York (Rt. 30) to advertise the SAR East show. Seems maybe a feather or two were ruffled by some targets that were on there. But a load of newspapers and TV stations called to find out what was going on.

Billboards were also showing, I believe, in the Philadelphia area, DC area and Baltimore area. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a billboard that large with MACHINEGUNS printed on it. Oh yeah, with targets.

Who makes the Lucite display stands? Those are nice.

Deaththompson,

The display stands are my own design. They are plexiglass . I got a idea from some guy in Ohio just made them better. If you are interested in the design I would be happy to email them to you. I my opinion they make the Thompson stand out better thenthe wooden ones . Sorry for the delay in the post I have been out town for the last 5 days .
