  1. Please send me a private message indicating the name to which you would like it changed. Thanks, David
  2. The M1A1 Thompson served in the U.S. military in very limited service at least up until the early 1990’s, so it could have been for foreign or domestic use. David
  3. My understanding is that a bill has been introduced in the WV legislature for the state to sell machine guns to the public, similar to liquor. The way the ‘86 law is written, states are exempted from the MG transfer laws, and someone has realized this is a potential loophole, allowing states to potentially transfer to individuals. We shall see what happens. David
  4. I don’t have any copies of my book available, but I noticed today that Amazon has them available for $39.51. That is the lowest of any recent pricing I have seen, and I have no idea how long that price will be available. Just in case you don’t have a copy yet… David

  6. Vigneron mags are very similar to Sten mags. I have a dummy receiver Vigneron that I bought from IMA about 20 years ago. Here are some pics. David
  7. Good to see you on here, Mark. We share some common ground from my many Austin years. David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
  8. Machinegunboards.com members, A post was made earlier today by a member who has now been banned from the site. In the post, the member listed personal information of another member (parasales), and called them out negatively. I will not tolerate doxing like this on the board. I have purchased items from parasales in the past with no issues. This board is meant to be a fun place to explore our hobby, and an excellent information resource. Please use it in this way, and enjoy your time here. If you see anything like this in the future, please reach out to me immediately. Sincerely, David Albert
  9. I want to ask if anyone here has an AR15 manual from earlier than February 1960. I have some very early AR15 paper, and a Colt publication from 2/60 in my collection is the earliest item I've ever seen. I looked through The Black Rifle, and The Black Rifle II, and did not see anything earlier, though there are only a handful of manuals documented in those books. The item I have is not shown in The Book of Colt Paper. Thanks! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
  10. Hi Skip, Yes, please send me a photo of the top of the sight showing the meter markings, if you would please to my email listed below. I greatly appreciate it. Another member sent me a pic of a 1000 yard example. Thank you very much! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
  11. Thanks for the link. I have photos of both sights, but they are copyrighted, like the content at the link. I am looking for someone to take a pic of their own example sights so that I can publish the photo without worrying about a copyright. David
