  1. Good find! That guy sounds like he deserves the Medal of Honor, at least with the way the show presented it. I never trust television, but that guy's body count and prisoner count was amazing considering he only had one guy with him :hail:
  2. +1 here. I think Sean Penn is a great actor. As a human being though, I'm going to restrain my comments immensely and just say that he leaves a lot to be desired.
  3. Well it looks like the sawed-off shotgun is still legal length and if the Thompson actually is a toy, I don't see anything that is really illegal, not even by Cali terms. I mean that LAW is probably a demilled tube or something that I see at gunshows all the time. I like the: "While on routine patrol, a 10-year veteran of the Sacramento Police Department gathered information that set in motion a series of events that ultimately resulted in his patrol team obtaining a search warrant into a home." I doubt he had enough evidence to get a legitimate search warrant. I also like how they are asking for help and information on this crime, which means "We don't have enough to charge him, but we're going to try to lock this guy up anyways"
  4. On number 57, what is that muzzle device the soldier has on his M16?
  5. So what are the laws for things like this up there?
  6. I see Lancer's location is in Freemont, Ohio. Where, by chance, did you two graduate law school?
  7. Uh Oh, that's cheating :butt: Yes, but that's a Colt 1928N! And I'm thinking about selling it soon. It's one of the 6 that came back from South America and is a pre- 86 dealer sample. I'll post it here first. Oh, if only I had the money, maybe after a few more years I'll be able to afford one.
  8. Whatever we are looking at, I think I shed a tear before I had to avert my eyes
  9. If you look around REAL hard online, you can find pictures somewhere. I saw an M1A1 that was from the Philippines, I believe. It was missing the handguard and had was integrally suppressed. Hideous looking though. I saw a picture of another one that had a silencer that replaced the Cutts, but it was then missing the front sight.
  10. If you have any more free stuff to give away I will take it!
  11. If you read "To Have and Have Not" as well as a few other stories he writes about Cuba and Thompsons, his character picks up a Thompson in Cuba and has experiences with Thompsons in Cuba. Which could be based off a real life excursion to Cuba. So my suggestion is look at what Thompsons ended up in Cuba and it's probably one of those. He also spent a lot of time in the Florida Keys and there were frequent trips to Cuba and back even if some were less than legal. Keep in mind that traveling to Cuba was not always illegal.
  12. There are that man BARs in Guatemala? Why can't they be imported? Someone could make a killing off of importing and selling them... :banghead:
  13. The question is whether they are still in business and have any left?!
  14. I hear that they are not the best people to do business with. I did a google search about them before and it almost all came back negative.
  15. That gun is pretty weird, I watched the whole trailer and it looked like it's a pretty funny movie, I may have to try and find it... The movie, because I'm pretty sure the gun doesn't exist :agree:
  16. I was checking out other things on their site and everything was ridiculously expensive. They wanted 3,000 for a MP5 Bolt group and 395 for a Beta C mag! Even if you bought directly from the Beta company's website they aren't that much....
  17. I was hoping to get away with my $200 bid, but then you bought it... Now I'm sad :butt:
  18. whats does everybody think....they were clearly using 2 different thompsons in the beginning...the one the sheriff brought had the long barrel but when they took it in the back, it had a short barrel on it. Ok,I thought I was just getting a bad angle of the camera or something, but if you saw it too then it wasn't just me. I think I saw them cutting down the barrel in that episode. After looking at everything they were doing to that I think it would have almost been easier for them to just manufacture a new one with a Philly 80%er and a parts kit.
