  1. Got my signed book yesterday for Christmas. I look forward to reading it. Thanks!
  2. Well I will have to learn how to attach a video 18379B14-4261-466B-B706-9AFBA6F260B0.MOV
  3. Here is my youngest when we had a chance to take it out in March.
  4. Update to this post. Short version of what feels like a long wait. I found this thread in late July 2018 and bought this M1. ATF cashed My Trust’s check December 6, 2018. My form 4 was approved December 5, 2019. My dealer received it today and my first Thompson is now at home! I’m very excited. (Fortunately, my dealer was close so I was able to visit it several times and shot it in March.)
  5. My wife just ordered your book for me for Christmas. It would be nice if you were able to sign it. If not no big deal, I look forward to finding it under the Christmas tree. Thanks Stewart
  6. My check was cashed December 6, 2018. I called ATF last week and was told I’m”pending” and the average is “about 9 months.” That didn’t really make me feel any better. I’ve been anxious for a few weeks now...
  7. I received my box of goodies today. Everything looks great. I look forward to placing another order soon. (Donation to the board also made) Thanks, Stewart
  8. Donation sent. Thank you for this wonderful place to learn! Stewart
  9. My M1 is discussed in this thread - http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22279 I spoke to the Lieutenant from the PD it came from and got a copy of the original ATF form. It was turned over to the PD in 1957.
  10. Thanks for sharing the link. Feels strange buying 5 magazines for a gun I won’t have for many months! ATF cashed my check 12/6/18
  11. Two stamps on mine also. Please forgive the shaky picture - it was taken during my first visit with my M1 Thompson. Form 4 sent about a month ago. My Savage M1 is NO. 68061
  12. I am happy to say that this Thompson will soon be on its way to my dealer! Not my first machinegun, but my first Thompson. I have been reading and trying to learn from this site since 2012 and am greatly appreciative of the great information on this forum. I have to say it has often been a little overwhelming but I have loved it. I look forward to sharing more pictures of it and am lager to learn more from everyone on this site. - Thanks
