I have been wondering the same thing after after hearing of the new ATF letter. If I placed the plain buffer tube against my shoulder, is it now an SBR?

Glad you like yours. I've had mine for about a year now, and love it. I've never had a problem with the function. Only a minor problem with the fitment of the rear grip when I first got it. I leave my bolt locked back, and that seems to have really helped out with the spring problem. I was going to go with the EZ Pull kit, but I don't think I'll bother with it now.

Glad it "fixed itself". That is the easiest kind of fix there is.
