  1. If you want to continue see MG prices spiral out of control keep electing democrats but if you want to be able to keep and transfer those MGs consider electing Republicans. It was Ronald Reagan (a republican) who signed the Hughes Amendment which banned full automatic firearms being added to the registry. For the guys here crying about how much your $40,000 toys cost: you are completely out of touch with the reality of most people. For they guy talking about "renting children", you really need to look at yourself in the mirror. Unemployment was at 15% a month ago. Quite frankly the comments and unsavory discussion allowed in this forum have kept me away from posting or contributing for a long time. I came here for history and the love of Thompsons, not to hear political rhetoric and hate against people. I resign my membership. I am out.
  2. It's the guns with some salt/history to them that really catch my eye. This gun has a great look.
  3. Nice gun. This one would be a great candidate for some minor smithing work to put a proper grip mount back on. It's a proper war-horse. Good luck with the sale!
  4. Interest is one thing. Having 20 thousand dollars to spend on a toy is another. Lots of young people I know personally know a lot about thompsons and enjoy reading about them. But until they get careers settled, spending over 20 thousand dollars on a hobby is a laughing matter. Thats why its the old farts who carry the hobby for now.
  5. Hey gang, Looking to buy a WW1 ear Gewehr 1898 rifle. I am looking for a matching numbers piece, no import markings. Please message me if you have one or know someone who would sell one. Also put a wanted ad up on Sturm. Thank you!
  6. 44/40 from brownells is pretty great stuff. Stuper corrosive though. If you leave it on too long it will rust the part.
  7. This is incredible. This guy has an illegal machine gun and posted about it on the open internet.
  8. This is super interesting. I bet that would have been very hard wearing on the fragile 1921 actuator.
  9. Looks like someone forced the drum mag into the mag well improperly. Maybe they used a hammer to "persuade" the drum into the rails on the upper reciever while the lower locking lug did not engage. That could have bent the drum lips. The sight looks like a piece of tube someone strapped to the barrel to simulate a "gangster" modification to the gun. This whole thing reeks of movie prop amateurs trying to play with a gun they knew little about.
  10. Probably one of the best dummy guns money could buy in the USA. Richardson receivers are legendary and that parts kit is top notch. Wish I has $2500 laying around. Good price.
  11. It just depends on what you are looking for, history or shootability. With WH guns you can only ever have one.
  12. Nothing against WH owners! If it is what you got, than good for you! I love all of these guns.
  13. To be honest, If I am buying a TSMG I am going to buy a milsurp gun. I would not pay milsurp prices for a comparable condition WH gun. Not gonna happen. I do see buyers paying a premium for a PK West Hurley, but I do not see that value as equal to a military or original colt gun. It would just be top end WH retail. So if you have a WH gun already, and want to shoot it, than the PK wait times and price are worth it because you are investing in your own personal enjoyment of your full auto gun. If you PK a gun purely for raising the retail price of the gun than it is not worth it. PK West Hurleys are only a phenomenon because we cannot add new guns to the registry, and are stuck with WH guns whether we like it or not.
  14. How do we access topic # 15604? Thanks in Advance
