TD. Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Hi Casper, What you have is a British Army ammunition box for the 20 round Thompson magazine. The felt is missing from the top of the box (and probably the bottom). These seem to command a good price on the open market if the markings are intact. I do not know the going price but it is over a $100. I would guess the lack of markings would greatly affect price. I noted the magazines in the picture of the ammo box you attached have the holes soldered. Another indication of British provenance. I wonder if the magazines are patent dates?
