Thompsonlover
I'm such a WWII buff and love the old WWII movies that I bought a bunch of original posters. I had them framed and at one time they were hanging in my office. I especially like the "Anzio" one staring Robert Mitchum that shows 2 Thompsons! The poster is dated 1968.
joseph12297
Cool stuff, I especially like the left handed actuator on the M1
full auto 45
They had to flip Mitchum's shot so it wouldn't cover up Mark Damon. Proof that Hollywierd has no idea on most things real.
mnshooter
Cool stuff, I especially like the left handed actuator on the M1 Equally entertaining is the small blank adapter at the muzzle, faithfully detailed in the poster.
Big Al
There was an M1A1 for sale on checkpointcharlies.com some time ago that had a slot on both sides of the receiver for the actuator to be set up on either side. He said in the description that it was a prototype, but I highly doubt that. I suspect it was just a gunsmith's project.
