Hello there, gauging interest amongst those of you who own a M76 or Mk760 for one of Brian Miles (fellow forum member) stock adapters.  If there is sufficient interest he will proceed with having another run of them made.

The stock adapter is a temporary (meaning not permanent) fix for the wobbly piece of garbage that S&W produced. Simply remove the OEM unit and replace it with this nicely finished to match unit that has a vertical picatinny rail allowing you to mount your favorite fixed or folding aftermarket stock.

This is an excellent solution for the gun's one major design flaws.

He has not set pricing yet, but I got one of his units last year, and just bought another M76, so I asked him if he could make more! We just need a few more people to say yes.

Yes I have to pay, like everyone else.

If you're interested, send him a note. 100% legit.

Thanks for posting about the S&W stock adapters. One important note is this adapter requires absolutely no modifications, filing, drilling holes, or anything on your registered receiver.

Will still need about 10-15 takers on another adapter before I can financially justify another CNC machining run.

Here are a few pics of different stocks that are attached to the OEM Smith 76 and MK 760 Subguns.

Thanks, Opee, Brian

The Sig Sauer Minimalist was my choice and it does the job. Very strong mount, you can hold the gun up with the stock, no wobble or movement.

Really nice product that is of value to our fellow forum members.

Fellow S&W 76, MK 760 Subgun owners:

I have received more requests in the last week or so for an adapter.

Down to about 10 more requests on the adapter and I can justify having another CNC machining run.

Please reply back or email and I'll be glad to keep everyone updated on a possible date for a batch of brand new stock adapters.

Thanks, Opee (Brian)

The stock adapter is it one I sold you or one of the adapter you had made. If it is one you had made it is a good copy.

I'm talking with a machine shop to do some bolts that will use a uzi extractor.

Fellow 76/760 Subgun Owners:

Wanted to update everyone on the Stock Adapters-- 2nd CNC Machining Batch, 4/16/23.

Have received a few more requests over the last 3-4 weeks.

Need about 5 more owners to opt-in to buy one, then I can to pull the trigger on a batch of 50 more machined Stock Adapters.

Please let me know via email if you would like one, and I'll put your name down. Trust me, you won't be disappointed in the quality and the fit for the S&W 76, or the MK 760  Subguns. Cost will be $240 shipped in the lower 48

NOTE: I believe I mentioned this, but there is absolutely no filing, drilling, or sanding required on your registered Subgun to install this adapter. About 30 minutes is all you need to install, and you can put your OEM wire stock back in the safe, because you will never want to use it again when shooting your 76/760 Subgun!

Thanks, Opee

He speaks the truth. I am the owner of a batch one unit and although it took me about 45 minutes to install, there was NO modification to the gun needed. Works great.

S&W 76 MK760 Stock Adapter Buyers.

Here are a few more Folding or Collaspable Stock options for your Subgun that previous buyers have added to their 76/760 Platform.

I'm down to about 3 more interested buyers and I can pull the trigger on another batch.

Once the order goes in, the CNC Machine shop I'm working with will need about 4-5 weeks to schedule and make the 50 Stock Adapters.

We are getting close! If interested please reply ASAP.

Thanks, Brian (Opee)

S&W 76 MK 760 Subgun owners!

5/30/23

I am ready to pull the trigger on the second CNC machining run of the stock adapters! I have been gathering names of interested parties and you guys are at the top of the list! It will take me about 4 weeks to get the adapters scheduled and machined, so you would likely be able to have them delivered to your doorstep by about mid-July time period.

As you can see from the pics, there are multiple styles of folding or collapsible stocks that will fit on your 76/760 Subgun using this adapter!Smith12.jpg.82b39209a5a487627d98592068297727.jpgSmith13.jpg.ca30cedefe8eee1560226b7d251a04d2.jpg

If there are any others who want a stock adapter but have not replied, please contact me via PM or email and let me know you want one.

Thank You, Opee

  • Rekraps changed the title to S&W M76 Stock Adapter Run! Ready to Roll!

Hey everyone! Brian (fellow Forum member) is getting ready for the second and most likely the last run of stock adapters for the M76. Look at the thread and if you own a M76 SMG, you owe it to yourself to get one of these.

I was an early first production run buyer and this custom adapter makes an otherwise unruly and hard to manage SMG a great gun. Quality is aircraft, fit is excellent and you can see by the pics that this adapter is perfect and well thought out.

Best of all, it's not permanent!

I have a 2nd M76 coming in soon and was first in line for the 2nd production run.

Brian, we have never met but I thank you for taking the time and investing the effort in making a part that we otherwise would not have access to!

One more time I'll post on this. Brian is 100% reliable.

This is a limited 2nd production run.  Get it while you can. Just like the MP48u40 Transport Box, soon they will be history!
