  1. 3/7/24--I have about 10-12 stock adapters left, so if anyone is interested, please PM me and I'll get you the information you need. BTW, I looked at a Iver Johnson M1 conversion last year for $7K and passed on it. Seller still has it and willing to sell anytime. Would rather have another S&W or a Swedish K but those prices are moving up. Brian M
  2. I am looking for an original plastic Pistol Grip for the S&W 76. The one that has the "shiny" black plastic. Hoping somebody may have some OEM S&W parts somewhere? My original has a small crack in the top part of it. Thanks, Opee
  3. Rekraps: Good information on troubleshooting this Subgun platform. I hear that Andrewski does really good work! Is there anyone out there currently making spare bolts or extractors at this time for the 76/760 platform? Might be a good survey to see just how many spare bolts, extractors, etc the Class III collector community might need for this historical weapon??
  4. For everyone who is waiting for a 76/760 stock adapter. Talked to my machinist today and the adapters are all machined and waiting on a few more to be finished. I should pick them up on Monday August 7th. Will be notifying everyone on the list once I have them in my hands. Thanks, Brian (Opee)
  5. Still available are the Stock Adapters for the S&W 76 / MK 760 Subguns! Will be the last run of this limited Qty accessory for the S&W 76/MK 760 Subgun. If you have not seen or fired one of these on a 76/760 Subgun, you will be surprised at how sturdy and robust they will make any folding or telescoping stock for these Subguns. Very easy to install, and the Adapter requires absolutely no modifications, drilling, sanding, or re-finishing of your registered Subgun Receiver. All you have to do is put your original OEM wire stock in the Safe! Below are a few examples of different types of stocks that are currently being used with this Adapter. If interested, email me at the address below to secure an adapter before they are gone. Cost is $190 shipped in the lower 48. ($195 Priority Mail) Thanks for Looking! brmiles@sbcglobal.net
  6. LAST CALL!.....The 4140 machined Stock Adapters for the S&W Model 76 / MK 670 Subguns are going into production in late June and should be ready to ship around mid-July. If you have not replied back as of 6/14/23, via email, and you are interested in buying one, please let me know. There are only 50 more Adapters that will be machined, and about half are already spoken for. Price will be $240 shipped in the lower 48. No mods required on your registered Subgun. See other Subgun pics in Rekraps post below. You can still use your OEM sights on your Subgun. Also "considering" making 76/760 bolts, so if interested in bolts, please let me know your level of interest. Thanks, Brian brmiles@sbcglobal.net
  7. S&W 76 MK 760 Subgun owners! 5/30/23 I am ready to pull the trigger on the second CNC machining run of the stock adapters! I have been gathering names of interested parties and you guys are at the top of the list! It will take me about 4 weeks to get the adapters scheduled and machined, so you would likely be able to have them delivered to your doorstep by about mid-July time period. As you can see from the pics, there are multiple styles of folding or collapsible stocks that will fit on your 76/760 Subgun using this adapter! If there are any others who want a stock adapter but have not replied, please contact me via PM or email and let me know you want one. Thank You, Opee BrianM brmiles@sbcglobal.net
  8. S&W 76 MK760 Stock Adapter Buyers. Here are a few more Folding or Collaspable Stock options for your Subgun that previous buyers have added to their 76/760 Platform. I'm down to about 3 more interested buyers and I can pull the trigger on another batch. Once the order goes in, the CNC Machine shop I'm working with will need about 4-5 weeks to schedule and make the 50 Stock Adapters. We are getting close! If interested please reply ASAP. Thanks, Brian (Opee)
  9. Fellow 76/760 Subgun Owners: Wanted to update everyone on the Stock Adapters-- 2nd CNC Machining Batch, 4/16/23. Have received a few more requests over the last 3-4 weeks. Need about 5 more owners to opt-in to buy one, then I can to pull the trigger on a batch of 50 more machined Stock Adapters. Please let me know via email if you would like one, and I'll put your name down. Trust me, you won't be disappointed in the quality and the fit for the S&W 76, or the MK 760 Subguns. Cost will be $240 shipped in the lower 48 NOTE: I believe I mentioned this, but there is absolutely no filing, drilling, or sanding required on your registered Subgun to install this adapter. About 30 minutes is all you need to install, and you can put your OEM wire stock back in the safe, because you will never want to use it again when shooting your 76/760 Subgun! Thanks, Opee brmiles@sbcglobal.net
  10. Fellow S&W 76, MK 760 Subgun owners: I have received more requests in the last week or so for an adapter. Down to about 10 more requests on the adapter and I can justify having another CNC machining run. Please reply back or email and I'll be glad to keep everyone updated on a possible date for a batch of brand new stock adapters. Thanks, Opee (Brian)
  11. Rekraps: Thanks for posting about the S&W stock adapters. One important note is this adapter requires absolutely no modifications, filing, drilling holes, or anything on your registered receiver. Will still need about 10-15 takers on another adapter before I can financially justify another CNC machining run. Here are a few pics of different stocks that are attached to the OEM Smith 76 and MK 760 Subguns. Thanks, Opee, Brian
  12. Price Reduction on the remaining 15 or so Stock Adapters for 2022 is $220.00 Shipped in the lower 48. Also, a buyer has reported that this adapter was successfully fitted to his Stemple 76/45 Subgun. Have finished up a CNC manufacturing run of the stock adapters designed to add a more sturdy folding stock to these great Subguns. Folding stocks such as the Sig Sauer Minimalist Plus, Telescoping Folding stock, Sig Thin Folding Stock, and others will all fit with a 1913 interface. This enables you to have a much sturdier stock while in FA fire. They look good too! This is not a business for me. It started as an idea from another person, and is now a cool project with many hours put into it. Limited quantity will be available due to the cost of machining/manufacturing. Absolutely no modifications are needed on your registered gun! If interested please email me for more information on the adapter, shipping, etc. Adapter Cost is $220.00 shipped in the lower 48. Thank You, Email: brmiles@sbcglobal.net Opee
  13. Here are a few Pics of a Folding AR stock added to the S&W 76/MK760 Subgun. This option also allows the shooter to use the OEM original sights on the gun, and adjustable LOP. These are Sig accessories.
  14. Nice pics of your new stocks on the 76/760 Subguns. I've seen pics of the Sig Minimalist Plus, and the Sig MCX/MPX Telescoping stocks attached. They look great and as advertised are a very sturdy folding stock system. Would love to see others post their pics. I have sold quite a few of these adapters in the last 2-3 weeks, and still have some available if other S&W 76 / MK760 owners are interested! Have heard the Adapter will also fit the Jim Burgess SW76 Subguns, but requires a little more time fitting the adapter due to variances in the grip block design. Should also fit the SA versions of the MK 760. Opee
  15. Ranger1385: The 76/760 adapter is designed to attach to a stock that has a 1913 Picatinny interface. The Sig Sauer MPX/MCX folding stocks such as the Minimalist Plus work, but there are other Sigs that will work too. There is a Sig Telescoping MCX/MPX folder that I like. There is a company called JMac LLC that makes one called SS-8 that look nice. Lage Manufacturing also has some folders that would fit. Lage also has a 1913 adapter that could attach a number of stocks to match this 76/760 Adapter. Check out Richard Lage’s website. There are a lot more out there available. Anything that will attach/interface with a 1913 rail, will work on this Adapter.
