Merry Ploughboy
Condolences to his survivors. The MAC-10 was immortalized in numerous movies and even in a rap song ("B Girls"). Gordon's legacy will last. MP
Waffen Und Bier
All the heroes (ordnance designers included) are going. The Ingram gun was mentioned in Warren Zevon's Jungle Work also.
Walter63a
May he rest in peace. He produced a fine series of still easily affordable subguns! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
21 smoker
I have always been a fan of Gordon Ingram and his design genius....we will miss him and his contributions...where will the next designers come from?....too long in this country we have been repressed in the civilian firearms design community due to unconstitutional legislation that inhibits NFA creativity. Most the great advancements in firearm development have come from the civilian sector throughout the world. But here in America,we have fallen behind the rest of the world because of leftist, liberal restrictions and as a result our troops are in combat with the oldest and most outdated personal weapons platform to date. What is the brady bunches montra?...`if it will save one child`...`for the children`.... right now there are a lot of American children dieing in iraq and afgan without the best weapons to defend themselves...that`s the fallout for letting the democraps tell us how things should be...Rest in Peace,Gordon Ingram, you did your part, now it is time for us to do ours...let us protect our Constitution and raise the standard of firearm design in this country. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
