Darth_Kitten
Hello all, I would like to poll your collective expertise and see if you guys can help me out on this one. I have a Kahr SA thompson. I've made the following mods to the weapon; Short barrel, parkerized, and installed modified mag catch to accomodate FA mags. I also purchased one of Dave Jankowski's spring kits for it. Here is my problem; when I have the lighter spring set and buffer in, the weapon double and triple fires sometimes when I pull the trigger. It does not happen every time I pull the trigger. If I put the heavier springs in the weapon functions fine. What is happening (or not happening) to cause this type of malfunction. I've tried to think it through, and can not come up with a plausible explanation as to why it's happening. Since everyone else that has purchased Dave's kit has given it glowing reviews, I don't want to place blame on the kit. Thanking you for your help in advance, Mark

Ron A
With the buffer in the gun the bolt is not going back all the way. If it works without the buffer the question is - do you want the receiver battered as there is no buffer as the bolt will be going back faster and harder - just a guess! Let us know. Zamm
Brain! Go to the corner! That's dangerous info which might be taken seriously. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif When firing blanks you should restrict the gases only by stuffing a rock in the end of the barrel! I'm suprised at you... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif ____________________________________________________________ :disclaimer: never do anything like the above, just a joke folks........... ____________________________________________________________ Z
