45wheelgun
Nice article by Tracie Hill in this months American Rifleman. Lots of pictures.
Grey Crow
I thought it was a good article. I'll bet the 1919 commands a hefty price. Hmm, Sako's Quad gun. I like what they did also, could be transferable, it looks like a very solid method.
JimFromFL
Geeesh, it always seems I am the last to know about this stuff. I hope it is in Monday's mail. I swear the mailman reads my stuff which is why it tends to take longer to get to me. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

TD.
Agree - it is excellent reference material. In addition, stories like this go a long way in removing the Thompson Submachine Guns from the list of "bad guns." I really like the background used on Page 54. I have seen this somewhere before......hmmm http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Bisley45
I liked that the pictures were in color, although the better half says that makes me drool more. BB
NotDeaf
It was a good article, I just finished that book “The gun that make the twenties road†which went into more detail, then the Rifleman. Still good to see the Thompson getting good press. Question: Has anyone here, on the boards, done a project X to match one those early models Thompson? Just curious, as always … Randy aka NotDeaf
Z3BigDaddy
I think it is great that the AR is printing more class III articles as of late. I think we should all write a note commenting on how much we enjoyed Tracies article. We need to let the NRA and it's people know how much impact the class III community can have. You can email them at, AmericanRiflemanTV@nrahq.org for the readers write section of the magazine.
JimFromFL
QUOTE (Z3BigDaddy @ Jan 25 2006, 01:27 AM) We need to let the NRA and it's people know how much impact the class III community can have. You can email them at, AmericanRiflemanTV@nrahq.org for the readers write section of the magazine. Oh sure, why not jack up the prices even more. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif I liked the article (it finally arrived). Enjoyed the WWII article about the M1 too and plan on picking up the book as well. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif
