AC556
How many of the original 15,000 Colts are transferable today? I read some place that there were less than 2000. Edited April 23, 2006 by AC556
Lancer
I asked this question a couple of years ago, Respected Ron was the only one that ventured a guess of 2500. October1971
When I was in touch with Roger Cox at the time he brought out his book, he told me he estimated that 1/3rd of the 15m Colts were exported out of the country, 1/3rd were registered, and 1/3rd were never registered (contraband). That was an estimate based upon the research he did for 10 years leading up to the publication of his book.
