Zoo
Here's an option for a reproduction that some reenactors have been talking about. Repro Thompson Kerr Sling I haven't tried it myself, but the guy who picked one up is happy with it. Jeremy
Mk VII
they do appear at shows from time to time, usually somewhat rust-stained. Stoneleigh in January would be the best bet.
Z3BigDaddy
One on ebaY™ at this moment, search "thompson machine gun" include descriptions, but is is kinda nasty looking.... I guess it would work till a nice one comes around...

Grumpy
Jeremy, Have you had any trouble ordering those repro slings from Hong Kong? I would think it wouldn't be a problem with US Customs. Ben, Do you know if the slings The Gunner is selling are original or repros? Are there Kerr or M3? Also, I guess it wouldn't be a problem to ship to the US? Not really a gun part. Thanks, Bill
Ben
Bill, I don't think they're repro. Cheap price though, so I would send them an email first just to be sure... As far as shipping to the US is concerned...can't see customs having a problem..unless they consider a sling a dangerous weapon because you could strangle someone with it!? JimFromFL
There are usually 1-2 on E-Bay each week. Give it another try. I hope you left the seller negative feedback.
M1Brian
Why don't you just get a garand sling and remove the clip from it. It's a whole inch longer then the original sling and looks exactly the same as the sling provided with the civilian version.
Grumpy
Thanks Ben, will drop them a line and see what they say. Take care, Bill
