Dennis Todd
Jennie and I will be set up with Bug and Bernie all weekend. Come and see the original Colt 1921 parts kit on a dummy receiver with matching serial numbers, two original German FG42s, etc. It should be a great weekend. The Lone Ranger
Agreed, it was worth attending. A good amount of C-3 goods although transferable (wartime) Tommys were thin. Every M1 I saw save for two was a pre-may DS and one was a weld. The guy marketing the "clean" one had been in the bamboo field - wanted 25k! Was a decent looking 28A1 for 23.5. TCA guys were good fun; got to meet Mr. Frank and "blame" his books for helping start me down the path to long term debt and gun payments. Would be nice if it were a bigger show, but this was year one and hopefully it will grow with time. Edited May 5, 2008 by The Lone Ranger
giantpanda4
:agree: But I did see a M1 (WWII) for 14.5K It was a fantastic show, I didn't think it was that small. I was a fool and tried to make it thru in 2 hours (had a nine hour drive home!). You could have spent all day there. I did also see a chrome lower and barrel.... anyone get the story on that one? May have been more in a box, no one was home. Great to see everyone again. Hope they do it again next year!
