    Fake, the anchor isn't right, the swivel cut out is to large, and the font isn't right. Just my opinion.

    By lateral, I assume you mean "left to right" . I've experienced this on my shooter Colt, I used clear finger nail polish on the threads. Just enough to "Gum-up" the threads to prevent movement, but still removable. If your speaking vertically, mine moves fairly freely, and if I flip up the ladder, I need to slide it to the bottom as it moves when the sight is is folded down.
