One week to go!

We haven't shot our Thompsons indoors at a Show & Shoot since the Show was held at the NRA Range in 2004.

Well “Hurricane Irene” tried to disrupt the 20th annual TCA Show & Shoot but she wasn’t that successful. Despite some wind, rain and power outages

here and there, we had a great show!

Special thanks to TCA Director, Chuck Klein and his wife MJ who hosted the weekend. Everything went great and the dinner was delicious. Venue hosts

Bob & Pat Kostaras also deserve special thanks for the use of their Classic Pistol Range. Their range, hospitality and entire staff were the finest kind.

I can tell by the displays this was a great show & shoot. I would expect nothing less from a show hosted by Chuck Klein and company. Thank you for the pictures. It appears a wonderful time was had by all. I can't wait to read about all the details in the next TCA newsletter.

All the many members on this forum that have never been to a Thompson Show and Shoot need to take note at what you are missing. There are normally three Thompson events held each year - one in Arizona, one in central Ohio, and one that travels around to different locations but is mainly in the north-eastern part of the country. This is the most enjoyable way to expand your knowledge of this great hobby of ours. Yes, excellent reference books are a must - and are available. But nothing takes the place of experience, actually seeing some of these rare and unusual Thompson guns, and speaking directly to the owners. The process starts anew for next year right now. Join one or both of these Thompson organizations and attend a show & shoot in 2012. Meet some of your fellow Board members. The knowledge and pleasure you obtain will be well worth the time and dollars spent.

TD Thank you for the kind words . The weather put a kink in some of the plans . I give everyone who came a special thank you . The weather was some of the worst we have ever seen here in our area. Seeing all the Thompsons is great but it is the people that make it special. And some people need a special thank you. Bob and Pat Kostaras owners of Classic Pistol they gave us use of there facility including all the ranges needed at no cost to the club. And we tried somthing new the displays were open to the public we had 42 Thompsons on display I have never heard WOW so many times. Next a special thank you to Alissa Soto [ Director Of Sales At The Hampton Inn] and her staff . The hotel lost power and a lot of people needed special attention GP's did not work roads closed . They went above the and beond the call of duty to make a bad situation go very smooth . My last line seeing all the Thompsons is Ok . But it is the people that make it Great . Thank You All

Chuck & MJ Klein

I had so many irons in the fire I did not take to many pictures .

Anyone have a picture of the cake ?.
