Adg105200
sorry for my novice question, but how to recognize an original 1921 actuator against a modified 1928 or new one ?I have an extra one, and will happy to know if it is a colt or notIt won't have any Savage or Stevens, or Remington stamps on it (obviously), and it will have finer (different from any knurling on any ww2 actuator) knurling. I believe all the Colt actuators also have more of a keyhole shaped slot in the actuator knob. I'm sure others here that actually have them can post pictures. anjong-ni
The particular actuator on Ebay appears to have seen duty as a bludgeon... You would think they would plagiarize better examples....Phil
