post-262701-0-94301900-1613059008_thumb.jpgI'm posting this Thompson for sale here with David's approval.

I have for sale a WH 1928 Thompson in good condition. It was left to me by a friend who passed recently. He owned it since the 80's. I have not shot it since I got it but was with him a few times years ago and it ran good at that time. It does have normal wear of used gun, but not abused.

Included with the gun:

4 20 rnd Seymour mags

1 20 rnd WPS mag

3 30 rnd Auto Ordnance mags (2 still in paper)

1 30 rnd Sparks Withington mag

3 30 rnd Crosby mags

10 30 rnd Seymour mags

1 Auto Ordnance "L" drum

1 Auto Ordnance "C" drum that I believe is a Numrich

A modified guitar case, spare buffers and springs, and a blish lock

Gun is in Florida on a Form 4

$17K with buyer paying stamps

Also if anybody is interested I am also selling a USAS 12 Semi Auto shotgun with 1 drum and several stick mags. Also currently on a Form 4 here in FL. Asking $2800

Unfortunately I dont know too much of the history on it. I shot it with my friend a few times years ago. He also had other SMGs but they were sold before he passed. I have the Form 4 from when he purchased it and just found a horizontal foregrip in the box where I had the magazines.

We'd opined here in the past that when a gun changes hands, any PK paperwork can easily be lost. Sometimes there's a stamped Diamond K logo, but a new owner might not know what it is, and not all guns have the mark.

Looks like a very nice gun.

My reference to PK was misunderstood. What I meant was, inside every original WH gun is a PK masterpiece waiting to come out! That is definitely NOT a PK'd gun... R

No, Paul didn't work on this one, I asked him. The sight does not appear to be a Lyman so it's one of those ladder sites that falls apart and will have to be replaced. Cannot tell if it's one of those cast actuators either.

My guess is since he dressed it up somewhat, he most likely put GI internals in it. The knurling is better than the WH cast bolt I have looks like it goes down further.
