Hawkeye_Joe
Although she's no virgin, a few scratches and wear in several places ( can see where a horizontal forearm was on her, wear along the top cocking slot and where someone took the selectors off) , she's still a looker. My first Thompson!! A dream realized... Woo Hoo http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Picked her up yesterday and brought her home from my dealer. I have yet to strip her down and check the internals but that will come in the next day or so. I'm still fighting a massive cough and can barely see to type this. She didn't take up nearly as much space in the bed as my old dog did..and she didn't snore like my ex-wife *LOL* I also got to see and fondle my MP40 which had arrived....looked really good too..Man I'mma happy camper.. cough or no cough.. Norm
Hawkeye-J, Congrats! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif The "slightly used" ones are the best. Your not afraid to shoot it; handle it; and the places that would be scratched, already are! Enjoy it and the MP40; two great WW2 guns! I can't wait to get my gun! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Norm
philasteen
I agree with Norm. The preexisting wear relieves that new gun anxiety and let's you really enjoy your purchase.
SecondAmend
As somebody once said, let Captain Kirk go where no man has gone before. Hopefully the prior owner(s) got it running good for you. Rat-tat-tat!

stevedf
VERY GOOD. I paid for mine in June (2 tranfers) and it will be here TOMORROW. My best bud is dieing with 5 cancers but my dealer is going out with my 1928 and also a sten, m-16s and maybe more and going to let him shoot all he has. thank God for small towns. Have Fun, I'll get mine out of jail about X-mas if I-m luckly. Steve
