Slimpikins
I have a question on the M1 bolt. It doesn't appear to be the bright "nickle" finish, but it does show the sand cut design. Can you shed any light on it ?
Colt Chopper
It is the same nickel finish as the 28 nickel bolts, neither of which have a "High Polish". It still has cosmoline on it, which are the brownish stain marks, I did not clean it. Hope this helps.
TD.
I saw the parts Colt Chopper is offering for sale at the TCA Show & Shoot. I believe all will clean up nicely. I have not seen original milled grip mounts for sale in a long time. Those still using the late two-piece riveted grip mount may want to think seriously about picking one of these up for a spare.
