  1. Does anyone know if Bren magazines will work in Enfield rifles? I remember hearing they would. And, if so where might one look for Bren magazines? Thanks!
  2. The case hardening can be easily cut through with separating discs or small grindstones. Diamond files will also easily cut it.
  3. It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but the gun actually appears to be nickeled instead of chromed. Either is a much better finish than parkerizing or bluing-but I understand wanting an original finish.
  4. I thought you were talking about the M2 carbine. Sorry.
  5. Roy Clark was a musician's musician. I would be honored to own his Thompson. For what it's worth- I rebuilt Jerry Garcia's switchblade.
  6. Your stock was made by Bianchi. I would not advise trying to cut it for a Universal carbine. I have an Iver Johnson Enforcer pistol I'm thinking about SBR-ing. I would love to have that stock to do so. Is it for sale?
  7. A 28 Ga. barrel is over .50 caliber. You can't just rifle it and make the gun legal. You can sleeve the barrel permanently and chamber it for rifled .410.
  8. Blood is acidic. It removes bluing immediately and if left on steel causes pitting. You have rust spots.
  9. A 20 Ga. is over .50 cal. It would be classed as a destructive device.
  10. It wasn't a gift- it was a PURCHASE. Like I said- everybody wants to screw Paypal out of their fees.
  11. Everybody wants to screw Paypal out of their fees. Comes back to bite you.
  12. Sorry- your post makes no sense, Or I'm misunderstanding. Only AOWs under .50 caliber can be rifled to remove them from the NFA. Removing the barrels, however (and disposing of them) removes the gun from the purview of the NFA.
  13. You can only rifle guns that are under .50 caliber. This would not include any 28, 20, 16, or 12 ga. guns.
  14. You can not rifle an Auto Burglar gun and make it a pistol, as it is still over .50 caliber. You can, however do this with the various .410 pistols.
  15. Iver Johnsons ARE Plainfields. IJ bought Plainfield. You would have to modify the front of a standard carbine stock to mount the Enforcer action. There were no M2 Universal Enforcers. All Universal Enfrocers were semi only. Plainfield and IJ made M2 Enforcers.
  16. Strangely, the forend iron seems to be chrome plated, or just polished steel.
