Brukev
To all the usual suspects at the TCA show, I'm sending this cause I won't have time to contact anyone personally. I'm afraid I won't make it this year. Its been a rough one for me and my family, a death, not immediate but close, lost a job, found a job, and in two weeks I have to move my family to a new city, and hopefully, get our lives back to normal. So, Phil A., Trip T., Frank, Jim, Tom P., Pat, and all the rest who had hoped to try to whup my a** on the range this year, sorry, you'll just have to wait till next time ;-) I'm gonna miss it! but I'll be back, in uniform in 04. Take care. - Kevin B.
gijive
Kevin, Sorry to hear you won't be making it this year. I was going to bring the USMC uniform again this year and actually put it on. Guess I'll have to wait until next year. Good luck on your move. See you in '04.
Brukev
GI Jive: You should wear that uniform anyways! Don't wait for me. We need to add a little decorum to the festivities. I wanna see pictures of you in the next newsletter. -Kevin

TOMMY SMG
Hi Guys, I have some very bad news http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif , after sending in all the needed paperwork and moneys for this years shoot and being accepted in to the club this year by Mr. Hill http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif , I will not be able to attend this years shoot with you guys. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif A family matter has come up that I have to take care of this coming weekend. I'll call Mr. Hill tomorrow and let him know http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif and "Hawksnet", thanks for making up a name tag for me http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif . If you could hold on to it until next year, I be sure and make it to that one. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif You guys dump a few drums for me and have fun. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif I'll be looking for a full report on the board. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Jim Moore:)
hawksnest
Tommy SMG: Sorry to hear you can't make it. Looking forward to meeting you next year.
TOMMY SMG
Thanks Hawksnet, http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif You can bet I'll be attending next year http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif . (My 1928A1 & M1A1 that I had planned on bringing aren't very happy with me right now!!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif They were all ready to go out and play!!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif ) All kidding aside, I talked to Mr. Hill today and filled him in on why I couldn't make it this year. He was sorry to hear that I wouldn't be attending this year, but said "we'll put you down for next year." We were talking and the name tags that you are making up for board members came up. He thought that was a great idea http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif and couldn't wait to see them, so I ask what name would he like on his and he said "Oh, don't worry about getting me one" http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/unsure.gif !!!!...... What you say we suprise him with one http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif , I think he'd love it. He said he doesn't have a board name, so lets make one up for him http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif --- say like "TommyHill" http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif or something like that? What-d-a-think guys? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif (Sounds like he does a lot to put this on for the TCA Members.) hawksnest
TOMMY SMG: "Tommy" Hill is Tracie's son's name! Wonder where Tracie came up with that? Tracie is not on the internet so he doesn't post on this board. How about an ID badge for Tracie's son? P. S. You are right about Tracie doing a lot to put this show and shoot on for the Thompson Collectors Association. Unless you are a TCA officer or a volunteer behind the scenes you have no idea. Trancie and the TCA really go out of their way to make this a class event.
TOMMY SMG
Hawksnet, I didn't know that!!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif (ya, go figure) Ya, I guess that would be ok. I thought Tracie would get a kick out of his own fictitious http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif name tag from "The Board Guys". http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif It's no big deal, just a thought.... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif (I can't make it to the shoot anyway. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif ) Jim http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

JimFromFL
Kevin, Sorry to here you can't make it this year. Due to new house and school, I too am skipping this year, but if I knew sooner you were not going to make, I would have tried harder to go as it would have given me the upper hand during the pepper poppers. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif With both of us out this year, I wonder who will win it this year? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif

gijive
Sure! The more the merrier. You have to abide by the "out of town" rule, though. Whatever happens out of town, remains out of town:-)
