colt21a
Whatever you think i could never stand those a Madsen would be better or a Mat 49. but hey everybody likes something someplace. have fun with it. nice wall hanger and maybe a war story behind. used by the french underground in the Nam. Haenelistklasse
Had a chance to buy one at 7.5k and took a hard pass. Mostly a wall hanger door stop I would say. The one I saw was also converted to 380 but also took original French Long. I would say NO MORE than 5k if you REALLY want it. I'd rather buy a Sten to be honest.
timkel
I looked hard at one of these a few years ago. I really like the design. But the lack of 7.65 long ammunition caused me to pass. Now fast forward to today. The 7.65 long is back in limited production at Steinel Ammo Co. The mags are available at Sarco.
DZelenka
Probably the least ergonomic gun I have ever fired. Very controllable though. No recoil from the anemic 7.65 round. Dan

Mojopin2010
I am haggling in the process of buying a MAT-49 myself. Expensive but its rare and unusual
maxfaxdude
I took possession of a MAS38 in early 2020. Got a Youtube video of me shooting it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OXDT5g8-nU. Steinel manufactures reliable but expensive ammo. And no one else loads it! Nearly zero recoil and very fun to shoot. Old school pre-WW2 machined receiver with off axis barrel. The French build guns like no one and no one builds guns like the French. ranger1385
I would be interested. It would mostly be a safe queen. I only take out my mg's for special occasions with my boys and buddies. Easy way to put a smile on my/their face without alcohol.))

Haenelistklasse
I had a chance to trade into an MAT49 plus cash for one of my MP40s. Had to take a very hard pass on that one too. Just looks like an even uglier MAC to be honest. Also passed on a Lanchester. Just snagged a Beretta 38/42 which is much cooler than both these guns put together I think.
