#10- You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.
#9- You can keep one hangun at home and have another for when you're on the road.
#8- If you admire a friend's hangun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.
#7- Your primary handgun doesn't mind if you keep another handgun for a backup.
#6- Your handgun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo.
#5- A handgun dosen't take up much closet space.
#4- Handguns function normally every day of the month.
#3- A handgun doesn't ask "Do these new grips make me look fat?".
#2- A handgun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.
And the number one way a handgun is better than a wife:
#1- You can buy a silencer for a handgun!

I love this list, though my wife doesn't think too much of it. One small correction to reason 10 - I think it is supposed to be:
10. You can trade an old 44 for a two new 22's.
Thanks for sharing.

Good list, but some old 44's are worth a slew of .22's; ie S&W Tripple lock.... I think better half is in mood to trade me for one right now....

Unfortunately, my wife would be able to figure out which post was mine since I am probably the Jim from Florida (JimFromFL) on the board.

I got a Thompson subgun for my wife. Boy, did I make a great trade! (With apologies to the late Henny Youngman). |
Actually, not sure if there are enough Thompsons for me to trade me wife.
