You absolutely do not need another gun.

When did "need" ever enter into our discussion of subguns?  I tell my customers all the time they only "need" one or two guns, after that, it's just what they want to buy.  If "need" were the criteria, this board would have shut down long ago....

That said, at the current price it is very inviting, but the auction doesn't begin until April 27 and I bet the price will run up to current worth in the final hours, possibly even going over it's value.  That's how auctions work and we've all gotten caught in the fever and overbid on something.  But it bears watching anyway.

Ya never know, a couple Ks went for S&W76 prices back in February:

In fact, on closer inspection, I think Lot 563 might be the same gun as the one in the GB auction at the start of this thread. Note the thumb clearance cut on the left grip panel.

I bid on both of those, or they would not have even gotten that high, so the new owner, being high bidder at one auction expects a higher bidder to come along?  Maybe he's a great poker player?

How about the West Hurley that sold for $32.5K, that's over 40K with buyers premium, amazing.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he turned it for a profit at that price.
Kind of reminds me of the efficient market hypothesis where all information is said to be known and priced into a share valuation. It makes sense for modeling, yet people keep getting rich buying options and short-selling, suggesting some are still good at spotting bargains and inflated pricing trends.
