06AngusSG
Very nice! Compared to what other Colts of this condition have sold for lately that buy it now price doesn't seem to bad. Now where did I put all my disposable income???

cubguy
How much do the police markings hurt the value? To me it detracts, others may like it. Please chime in
Devil Dog 1110
The wood may have been refinished. The butt stock looks like a Colt but the seller says there is no Anchor logo on it.The police markings will appeal to some but be not to others. This gun looks pretty nice and the PD markings would not stop me from buying it if the price was right. This gun seems to have some issues that affect it's collector value- I'd have to examine it in person before making an offer. The Dell Free 21A ,with PD markings, that a board member bought a few months ago for $37.5K looked to be in a lot better shape. darrylta
Two things I saw right off the bat,The XX mag is of the Colt era.The shape of the vertical fore grip looks more like an early Savage than a Colt grip. You would think the case would be a vintage one, not one with a Samsonite handle??My 2 cents, Darryl
DLansky
I looked carefully at this gun. the stock is Savage. the internals are correct.I thought the vertical grip was correct. the Seller was pleasant to deal with.
