michaelkih
Yes. Eastern. My entire gun collection is insured, as well as their max insurance policy on ammo. Doesnt cover nearly all my ammo, but its better than nothing.
Speeddemon02
Not to make this sound ridiculous, but i'll give a try anyhow. Some time ago the most recent thread about who to use for insurance came up and I contacted both the top two most recommended for a quote. They came back with such a high number that I could have bought the entire collection again in just over a decade. My house is worth twice as much and pay way less and I understand that that is not a fair or equal shake at it, but the cost analysis did work out in either of their favor. MrBill
Collectibles....They cover shipping (fed ex) ,public carrier (i have flown a dozen times with MG'S) and you tell them what they are worth for replacement value. I worry very little about someone burglarizing my safes, but transport, public shoots and shows sometimes worries me.

Where you live in addition to having an alarm system and safe all make a huge difference in the cost of insurance.
StrangeRanger
My annual premium from Collectibles is just over $5 per $1000 of coverage. I can live with a 200 year "amortization" period Edited November 22, 2019 by StrangeRanger

b_san
Eastern for me.Same here, they were much more responsive to questions than Collectible when I was shopping and have been great with adding coverage and follow up after being a customer. Vettom
I am using Collectables so far so good not had to use them. I already had them for other Collectables but added a second policy for the hardware.

lightguy
I shopped them all.Eastern was far away the best value. Also they insure not only guns but other collectibles so you can lump them together for a better rate..no cars or jewelry though The clincher was you dont have to schedule (itemize) any item less than $50,000 for the policy I bought. Different carriers may have different rates for different states.Eastern was best for my area and conditions; IE how far from a fire station are you , do you have cameras and alarms... are they in a safe ? etc. Edited January 3, 2020 by lightguy
