H Harrison
Great collection Wilson, did you manage to acquire one of those rare metric Lymans as well?
WILSON
H Harrison - No, I do not have a metric Lyman. What you see is what I have in the way of rear sights (although I do have some duplicates). If you or anyone else comes across any others let me know. At this point I am not interested in any post-Bridgeport items. WILSON
PK.
I think Harrison "gotcha" on that one Wilson! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

WILSON
PK. - I do remember seeing a LYMAN adjustable rear sight in Tracie's book in meters. I don't have the book in front of me to give a more detailed reference.
PK.
Oops! I think you are right Wilson. Guess the jokes on me! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif
full auto 45
Very interesting collection. I'm trying to track down some papers written by Theodore Eickhoff and John Blish, both from Indianapolis by the way. I have found out that alot of "secret" testing was done at the Blish farm on the East side of Indy. Just a few miles from my old farm. Of course now all the F*#kin' slabber homes have taken the farms over so I could not find the old Blish farm anymore. The old Eickhoff home still stands. Mike Mike's Machineguns video page p.s. sportster
Wilson, Thanks for the information on the different rear sights. My Lyman seems to hold up pretty well on my 1928 WWII Commemorative Thompson. When you have a shoot, it is the most requested gun everybody wants to shoot. Thousands of rounds later and it is still going strong. They all say how nice it is to enjoy shooting a piece of history. Everyone should have a full-auto Thompson in their collection. I read the boards more than I post. Thanks for the Boards! sportster
