emmagee1917
There is a picture of the inside of a cargo plane with 50 Thompsons upright , to fire down through the floor , in 5 rows of 10 , each with a 50 or 100 round drum . Puff the magic dragon ETO style .Chris I believe it is illegal to fly a plane with mounted guns , they have to be hand held .

StrangeRanger
I've seen videos of hogs being shot with a "Pig" out the side door of a helicopter. Pretty sure it was in TX. 7.62x51 is much more appropriate for that task than .45ACP

skoda
So if a guy was to shoot the tommy gun from a plane.. What should the target be?Water will give you the best visual feedback. And the most dramatic, Tannerite aside. Of course there are safety concerns shooting at water but one has to assume that your piece of private property is quite large and not vary well stocked with humans and other such critters. If you don't have water then sand or dust gives a decent 'splash' especially with a 45 ACP. You could set up some balloons in different spots and have a go at them. One thing, no matter what you shoot at, DON'T SHOOT THE PROPELLER!!!!!! Please take a video or two and share with us your experience.

I have a friend who did this, though I would not recommend it. DougStump
Then lots of articles about it being illegal to shoot down drones If you're on the ground, and the drone is in the air, aren't you shooting up the drone? Very cool.Dan, you need to do this. Do it into a muddy field so you get a better "splatter" effect.
