Grey Crow
My order was fairly good, a few small dents to raise, but certainly no issue. Sanded and finished up really nice, I have a nice assortment of non and with cross bolts. Now all I need is the front upper portion... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif The harder part is the metal! I can read the headlines now, man assulted with machinegun stocks. Goverment plans ban on walnut.
wolfer113
i can see it now.... ATF knocks on door.."sir...can you explain the walnut tree growing in your yard?"
philasteen
My post wasn't a joke This TG is killing me, first a $50 stock and now a $20 stock. That's only a 16x and 6x markup over the going rate.
LIONHART
I purchased quite a number of these, and they were all in great shape. Lady at Gunparts told me that they have thousands in stock...FWIW.
DC Chris
I have seen some recent ones from e-gunparts.com and they were fantastic... for 3.50 each. No offense dude, but this (as you say) "junk from numrich" is good stock and much cheaper than what you are selling. Then you repond to yourself with your opinions trying to justify your high asking price. Please put your stocks to ebay if you are looking to take advantage of others and make money, but dont insult us. Chris.
wolfer113
i'm not insulting anyone.....only selling some stuff for a friend and listing it for he wants for it.....if it insults you, you have issues...either buy or don't....somebody might not want to take the chance of getting junk from numrich like i did...maybe they just want a good stock and want to see what they are buying before they waste their time....btw these can't be sold on ebay...i'm glad you have seen fantastic ones from numrich...i've seen JUNK....3 out of 10 stocks was fair and 7 was JUNK....I take offense...i'm not a dude and i'm not trying to justify anything...just offering....you put your 2 cents in and i put mine....remember no flamming...OUT
DC Chris
First: 1) Learn what a period does and where it fits in to proper sentence structure. 2) You seem pretty defensive when someone challenges your high asking price. Why? I absolutely won't buy your overpriced stocks and I urge anyone on this forum to explore other options before what I (and others) consider to be grossly overpriced. Just as you want to try to hock your buddies stocks, I can also put in my 2 cents to possibly help someone who YOU might be taking advantage of by charging well over market for a common and plentiful part. If you want to help people on this forum, give it to them at cost and charge reasonable shipping and handling. If you want to make profit - go elsewhere to look for suckers. As I said before DUDE: take your stocks and your "buddy" and sell it overpriced (without justifying why) somewhere else. The last time I checked, this was not a for sale forum. Chris. BTW: No flaming. Out.
First Sergeant
I bought several of the non-crossbolt stocks a few months ago and was very satisfied. A few were perfect without dents or scratches. I did encounter a couple that were not milled out properly and returned them. Numrich gladly replaced them with nicer stocks. I even received a bonus, one had a milled swivel still installed and had the two mounting screws for the slide. Not a bad deal at all !!! jim
Hey that's an M1/M1A1 stock! Do they have those? All they advertised were the 1928 and 1921 style stocks! I just put in an order for 10 '21 stocks($2.50 each) and 2 NIW 1928 stocks(only $10 each). Please let me know! Jim
Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
What do you guys do with 10, 28 stocks? Are you waiting for boxcar of registered stockless Savages to turn up? Or are you all planning on selling them on Ebay?
jim
Actually I'm going to hold them for a few years and then try and sell them for $50 each, $20 will be too cheap!!
Grey Crow
Roland, The possibilities are endless! You can make floor lamps, milking stools, (not that I need one anymore since my cow ran away) heck even clubs! One could even bolt two together (side by side) and make a swing seat for the kids. Almpst forgot, Row Boat Paddles! Imagination!!
