lpedersen
I'm looking to purchase an original "C" drum in the next couple of months. If anyone knows of one for sale, or of one being listed in the near future could you please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.
dalbert
Does it have to be matching numbers, and/or original finish? David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com

kwspilman
I have a original "C" drum with low serial number that I would sell. The outside looks great and the inside looks like it hasnever been used. Kevin

TD.
Yes, the new GPC C drums from the Gun Parts Corporation are the real deal. This has been discussed previously on the Board: http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21037 http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20627 As with nearly all drums, sometimes some tinkering is in order. I did a story about these drums in Small Arms Review magazine a few years ago. The Gun Parts Corporation show price at Knob Creek yesterday was $350 out the door! TSMG28
These are the drums made in Taiwan. They are 100% reliable, but you need to grease them early on to extend their life. The springs are not greased at the factory.

Rimcrew
I find it amazing that something like that still exists, in that condition. It's beautiful, thanks for sharing the pics!
gijive
lpedersen, Any chance of showing a picture of the drum body from the side with the cover removed? I would like to see the mark where the drum was bead-blasted with the cover on when it was manufactured. It usually leaves a mark, the thickness of the bend on the cover, on the body which should be smooth blue metal, not matte finish. Thanks
