MARK2112
you can see how the heel of the receiver has been annealed during the manufacturing process by the different color the park has taken. Love the M1s

Merry Ploughboy
Nice; and I'll add that when I had an M1A1 (in which I swapped an M1 bolt), it was very tolerant with all brands of ball ammo and incredibly reliable. Not a single failure! I'm sure yours will be excellent as well. Enjoy!

R67
I like those Lyman peep sights better than the M1A1 triangle sights. I like this piece! While Pre-War civilian models and early 1928A1 pieces exhibit and old world craftsmanship, these wartime M1s just are warhorses. I can think of nothing better to kick in Hitler's door with than an M1 TSMG. Great score!
Grasshopper
AZ Boater, Looks great! Now the fun begins! If you want to go covert, just slip a 28 lower on it for the QD stock. Mine sneaks to the range in a tennis racket case. Great score, Grasshopper

Motorcar
That is a really nice one, looks like it just stepped out of 1945, a real treasure. Thanks for the great photos.
Freddy
I am fascinated that this is an AOC M1 upper. I Was under the Impression that due to acceptance delays, all M1 by AOC were reconfigured and re-stamped M1A1 before leaving the factory... I had only seen M1s by Savage so far... A very nice piece!
