Kilroy
I find it kind of interesting (I have never closely examined a West Hurley) that the receiver says “Model 1928” above the serial number, but then it says “Caliber .45 M1” under the Thompson line... .45 M1? bigbore
Wow, this does not instill confidence in a buyer of their products... The Web guy just copy the text from a different gun. It was an obvious honest mistake
Burns556
Wow, this does not instill confidence in a buyer of their products... I've bought 5 guns from OOW that I can think of. A couple of which I consider to be 'my favorites' in my collection. Probably just some intern made an honest mistake, it's not like the price was way out of bounds. Rimcrew
Great, they are just sloppy with their ads. Note to self: verify ALL information before buying!!
Got Uzi
Like none of you ever made a mistake? Not everyone knows the difference on these guns. It was fixed so MOVE ON.

lamellarllc
How come it doesn't have the normal Lyman sight, looks like th rear sight is the double peep sight found on some semi autos???
StrangeRanger
It's a West Hurley gun, not a Bridgeport. They used several different varieties of sight aside from real Lymans. This one, I am not familiar with though. It may have been cobbled together by a previous owner maybe from a 1917 Enfield Edited October 2, 2020 by StrangeRanger

Perhaps a bargain considering the includeds. From the looks of the wear on the top of the receiver (which is a good sign) it looks like a reliable shooter. Waffen Und Bier
My new baby I discovered at Ohio Ordnance because of this post arrived last week. Not everyone's cup-o-tea, I have always had a soft spot for the M10/M11 series (as must the composer and singer of Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner). It's an iconic piece of American firearms history and just plain wicked looking....and it can fit in a lunchbox. Burns556
Hey Congrats! Very cool! Maybe it's true that any publicity is good publicity, either way I've always found them to be a stand up company.
darrylta
Has anyone noticed the grip hanger. It's all wrong?Surprised that OOW would let this slip by?Darryl
Paul in PA
Is Bob still actively engaged in the business? Or has it passed to his son/son-in-law (I think)? I have dealt with OOW in the past always a good experience, but in the last six years I have not, for many reasons. Some personal, like my collection is shrinking as I age or in their case their focus appears to have changed and not much interests me there anymore. Nothing bad, but they appear to be going after the DoD-PD work more and less focused on the Collector market.
